Miss Deane - Junior Classroom Teacher

Literacy:In Mr Stow’s group, students have been learning about the split digraph (bossy e) with the letters a and i, exploring words such as slime and tape. Miss Deane’s group has been focusing on the letter w and have learned their first digraph, ck, which appears at the end of words.

Maths:We wrapped up our unit on time, with students learning how to tell quarter past and quarter to. This week, we’ve started exploring the addition of one- and two-digit numbers. The students have been using number lines and MAB blocks to help them visualise and understand the process.
