Literacy

In Literacy this week we have continued to write our narratives that are based on Charlotte's Web. We have learnt about the narrative hill and how best to write a story that will engage the audience - using imagery, descriptive language, adverbial phrases and different conjunctions. Mrs Punton can't wait for our narratives to be finished as she would love to publish them and make them available to all students to read!

Maths

For Maths we have learnt about measurement and the many ways we can measure different items. From length, to perimeter, area, mass and volume, we have learnt lots of different equations, and continued to refine our multiplication skills. MAB has been an excellent resource for us as we learn about area and volume. We had our Maths lesson outside on Thursday - we experimented with different natural resources and their impacts on water displacement.
