Family and Faith Matters

What's happening in our Classrooms?
Each morning, our Kindergarten students gather together to read from the Children’s Bible, sharing stories and messages from Jesus in a warm and reflective setting. These moments help our youngest learners explore themes of kindness, love, and compassion, while building a sense of community and spiritual connection.
The children are engaged and curious, often asking thoughtful questions and sharing their own reflections. It’s a beautiful way to start the day with calm, purpose, and inspiration.
In Stage 2 ~
Year 4 have been learning about Saint Carlo Acutis, who was made a saint by Pope Leo just two weeks ago and is one of the youngest saints in the Church. Students explored how he used the internet to share messages of compassion and inspire others to use their gifts for good.
Come Join Us!
Next Tuesday 23rd September at 2:10pm we will be holding a Liturgy celebrating the Jubilee year of Hope. The Tree of Hope is our theme for the liturgy ~ we are coming together as a school to pray for hope and support while maintaining the dignity of each person and the importance of mental wellbeing. Our Tree of Hope draws on the imagery of growth, spring, and renewal to inspire young hearts.
Parents and friends are warmly welcome to join us in prayer on the playground. This will be followed by a short awards assembly.

Have your say in small, reflective discussion groups about what you see could be a future direction of the Parish- especially how it can cater spiritually for all age groups. This is your chance to be a part of discerning change. Three questions we want you to answer in community with other families from the school and Parish are: -
What do we currently do well to ignite the faith lives of our parishioners?
What do you see as possible blockages to living the joy of the Gospel in our Parish and how can we begin to break down these impediments?
How can we open out hearts more to the call to be "revolutionaries of tenderness" both within and outside the Parish, as Pope Francis asked us to be?
