Premier's Reading Challenge
Congratulations to all students who completed the PRC for 2025. The challenge is now closed.
This year we have 185 students who have finished the challenge - a great achievement for our school!
Bear Pit Public Speaking Competition
The Bear Pit Public Speaking Competition is an educational, fun, and unique opportunity for students to deliver a speech in the historic Parliament of NSW Legislative Assembly chamber, informally known as the “Bear Pit”. It is hosted by Matt Cross MP, Member for Davidson in the Parliament of NSW, and is open to all schools within the Davidson electorate.
Holy Family is represented today by Allison in Year Five. We wish her all the best today.
Paper Plane Competition
Paper plane construction has taken Holy Family by storm! We are loving all of the collaboration, sharing and talking about different designs and flights.
Today we held our first Paper Plane Competition. The first award for furthest flight went to Oliver in Year Three. It was a remarkable flight - from the middle to almost the end of the under croft. Congratulations Oliver!
The second award went to the most creative flight. Rohan (Year 3) won this award with a fancy flight including many dips, twirls and a final loop around an under-croft pylon. Well done, Rohan!
Library Apologies
Due to a new Library system being installed students were unable to borrow from the library this week. Library will be back to normal next week for Holiday borrowing.
Thank you for understanding.
Have a Lovely Weekend
