Classroom renovations

Over the September holidays, we completed a major project to upgrade our Prep and Year 2 classrooms located around the Library. These spaces are now fully self-contained, helping to reduce distractions, support student focus, and ensure the Library remains a calm and quiet space for all to enjoy.

A huge thank you to all the families who contributed to the Building Fund through the Parent Payments program. Your generous donations helped make is project (costing over $45,000) possible. Every student across the school will benefit from it, so thank you again!

Parent Payments help bridge the gap between government funding and the actual cost of providing the high-quality teaching, learning and extracurricular programs that make Port Melbourne Primary School such a special place to learn.

If you would like to make a donation to the Building Fund, please contact the school office on 9646 1001 or port.melbourne.ps@education.vic.gov.au – all donations over $2 are tax deductible.

Alternatively, you can donate on Compass, through the green "Payment Centre" notification tab. Under this tab you can click on the 2025 Parent Payment link and follow the prompts.
