Child Safe Standards

Standard 4: Families and communities are informed and involved in promoting child safety and wellbeing

Good Shepherd works to keep families and the community informed about how they protect children and promote their wellbeing. This involves sharing important information clearly and regularly. By working together, families, staff, and the community share the responsibility of keeping children safe and supported. Families have unique knowledge and understanding about their children, so your input and partnership are valued and help make our school a better place for all children.

Standard 5: Equity is upheld and diverse needs respected in policy and practice.

Good Shepherd is committed to ensuring every child feels safe, included and valued. We recognise that children have different backgrounds, needs and experiences, and we work to make sure all students are treated with fairness and respect. By understanding and responding to these differences, we help protect children from harm and support their wellbeing in a safe and welcoming environment.
