CAMPING PROGRAM

This week marks the beginning of our annual camping program at POPS. We are very proud of the model we have developed, where all students are given the opportunity to experience the excitement of camp:

Years 3–6 participate in three day, two night camps
Years 1–2 enjoy a full day of camp activities at school, stay for dinner, and then head home in the evening.
Foundation students also take part in their own special camp day.

No matter where the camp takes place, these experiences allow our students to develop independence, teamwork, and resilience while creating lasting memories with their peers.

A sincere thank you to our dedicated staff and parent helpers who plan and care for our students and give their time away from their own families to ensure our students have the best possible camp experience.

DISTRICT ATHLETICS

Congratulations to all our POPS students who represented the school so proudly at the District Athletics on Monday! Every athlete gave their best effort, and POPS placed 2nd overall, a fantastic achievement.

A big thank you to Mrs Carbone for organising the team and preparing our athletes so well for the event. We are also excited that a number of our students will now progress to the Division Finals.

FATHER'S/SPECIAL PERSON BREAKFAST

Tomorrow morning we come together for our annual Fathers’/Special Person Breakfast, a treasured tradition at POPS. We looking forward to welcoming dads and special guests to join us in the Arts Centre from 7:30 am to share breakfast with our school community.

A heartfelt thank you to our wonderful Parents Association team for bringing this event to life, and to the parents who have volunteered to lend a hand to make mornings like this possible.

After breakfast, students will take their dad or special guest into their classroom to show them their learning space and enjoy a short activity together.

We can’t wait to see so many of our students and their dads or special people tomorrow morning. Here’s a clearer and warmer version of your message:

STUDENT ACHIEVEMENTS

Mia A (4P) participated in her first MS readathon. She set a goal of 10 books to read for the month and a target of $300. She managed 13 books and raised $335. The money raised goes towards supporting people with MS and other neurological conditions. Well done Mia!

PSW Croydon is moving

PSW/Uniform Group are relocating to a new store in a great location not far from the current premises. Please see the From the Office page for more details.

The last day of trade at the current store is SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 13TH 2025. The new store opens on TUESDAY SEPTEMBER 23RD 2025.
