Ringwood District Athletics Carnival

Congratulations to our incredible team of 59 athletes who represented our school with pride at the Ringwood District Athletics Carnival on Monday 1st September, held at the Bill Sewart Athletics Track in East Burwood.

Competing against top athletes from eight schools across the District including Tintern Grammar, Sacred Heart PS, Tintervale PS, Warranwood PS, Ringwood North PS, Dorset PS, and Holy Spirit PS,  our students showed outstanding skill, determination, and resilience throughout the day.

Blessed with perfect sunny and warm weather conditions, the competition was fierce, but our team rose to the challenge with impressive results. We proudly placed 2nd in Track events, 3rd in Field events, and 2nd overall in the Aggregate, finishing just 12 points shy of the winning school. What an amazing effort - GO TEAM POPS!

A huge congratulations to these athletes who have now qualified to compete at the Maroondah Division Athletics Carnival on Thursday 9th October, also at the Bill Sewart Athletics Track. We wish you the best of luck!

To every student who competed at District, well done! Your effort, determination, resilience, and sportspersonship were truly inspiring. I witnessed many moments of cheering and support - an excellent display of team spirit!

Finally, a big thank-you to our wonderful helpers: Mrs Emily Murray, who assisted throughout the Boys Shot Put event, Mrs Rachel Cornwell, who managed the finish line for track events, and Mr Moore, Mr McKibbin, and Mrs Ingle for their support in directing students to their events.

I can't wait to see our athletes shine even brighter at Division!
