Grandparents' and Special Friends Morning

We are so looking forward to seeing all our special visitors tomorrow morning.

In order to minimise movement up the hill to MacKillop Views, some classes will be located in different areas:

Please note that:

  • All Year 4s and Year 6s will be located in Penola
  • Year 3s from MacKillop Views (Transport and Technology) will be located in The Rise Building with the Preps
  • Sutherland Homegroup will join with the other Year 5 homegroups in The Boulevard.

Weetbix Active Bands Olympics

To celebrate the Paris 2024 Olympics, we will be running our own Olympic celebration here at school. In the coming days your children will bring home a Weetbix Active Band.

You are asked to download the Parent App and register your child as a participant. Simply scan the QR code on the back of the cardboard the band comes on and follow the simple instructions. There is no cost involved to participate and you can choose how involved you want to be after setting up your children's profiles - the more involved you are, the more points they will earn though!

Children will then get points for themselves whenever they are active and those points will then go towards their homegroup tally and community tally. There will be medals and prizes awarded to homegroups and communities throughout the Olympics to keep children motivated and engaged.

We are hoping for a very active, exciting Olympic period and are grateful for your support. Please see the documents below for more information about the bands.

Feast Day Celebration Preparations

The Feast Day of our patron saint, St Mary of Cross MacKillop is coming up in Week 4, Thursday 8th August. In preparation, we invite all students to participate in our St Mary MacKillop Art Competition. Please see details below. All students are also invited to wear their best party clothes or disco attire to celebrate on the day. Please note that disco attire is permitted at the liturgy in the morning as well!
