Confirmation 

This week, 23 students are finalising their preparations for the Sacrament of Confirmation which they will receive on Sunday 23 June at the 9am Mass. 

Tomorrow students will participate in a Confirmation Preparation/Retreat Day where they will learn more about the Gifts of the Holy Spirit, receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation and go through the proceedings of the Mass for Sunday. 

The Sacrament of Confirmation is the third Sacramenf of initiation, when the confirmandi will complete their baptismal promises and be empowered by the Gifts of the Holy Spirit: wisdom, understanding, counsel, fortitude, knowledge, piety, and fear of the Lord.

We extend our congratulations to all the students making their Confirmation this weekend! May the Gifts of the Holy Spirit they will receive, guide them in their faith journey, strengthen their bond with the Church, and inspire them to live out Christ's mission with love. May the Holy Spirit fill their hearts with grace and lead them to a life of service and joy.
