ALCOA Apprenticeships

Alcoa has launched its Apprenticeship recruitment campaign for the 2025 Intake, accepting applications now until COB Wednesday, 17th July 2024.

We have multiple apprenticeship opportunities available across our WA Alumina and Bauxite operations, which are located at our two refineries (Pinjarra & Wagerup) and our bauxite mine sites (Huntly & Willowdale). 

Successful applicants will start in January 2025 and at the end of the four years, will earn a nationally recognised trade certificate.  Opportunities exist in the following disciplines:

• Mechanical Fitter
• Fabricator / Welder
• Heavy Duty Plant Mechanic
• Light Vehicle Mechanic
• Electrical Instrumentation Technician

Please note that it is essential that current students or recent school leavers attach a full copy of their latest school grade report for their application to be considered.

Candidates who left school more than three years ago (by the end of 2021) are asked to upload a current CV or university transcript.
