KESAB Video Competition Awards

On Wednesday night, we went to Marryatville Primary School for the KESAB Video Competition Awards. We were in the library, which had a TV and lots of seats. We sat down for a brief introduction and heard about the activities we were going to engage in. Next, we watched all the videos from the schools which were entered into the competition. After each video, every school received a participation package, which was cool. The general prizes included a bin game, a book, and a participation certificate. We then found out who came in first and second. It was very close and we were thrilled as Magill came in second! St Francis of Assisi won with their entertaining video about how to compost correctly, featuring Mario and Luigi. Our video was also about worm farms and composting. One of the prizes was a certificate and an excursion to the Statewide Education Center or a tour of Jeffries Composting Facilities plus a $250 gift voucher for Jeffries! Well done to all the children in the Sustainability Action Team who were involved.
