Accelerating Year 11s

We wish Year 11 students completing a Unit 3/4 subject all the best with their upcoming Year 12 exam! To help you prepare for your Year 12 exam, you will have an approved absence the day before and day of your Year 12 exam. You are welcome to either study from home or at school, but you are not expected to attend Year 11 classes on these days - attendance notes have been added to your Compass timetable. If you have any questions, please speak to Mr. Fletcher.

Unit 2 exams

Unit 2 exams run in Week 7 (Monday 18th-Friday 22nd November). Unit 2 exams are an important part of your final preparation before you start Year 12 in 2025. Unit 2 coursework will be completed by the end of Week 5 to ensure that you have a week of revision classes in Week 6 to help prepare for exams. However, you should start the revision process early to set yourself up for best success. More information about exams will be presented in the assembly next week.

Celebrating Student Success

Congratulations to Year 11 VCD students for their work in this year's Art and Tech Expo. Below is a small selection of some of the great designs produced by Mia Fenech, Jennifer Dang, Shylah Balla-Ateli, Rachel Le, Rutu Suthar, Alex Morey, and Keira Dinh.

SAC Absences

Reminder for all VCE students: any absence from a SAC must be supported by a medical certificate, or be an approved sporting absence through the MSA (Academy students only - use the link below).

An unapproved absence will result in the student receiving a score of zero for the SAC. The student will still be expected to complete the SAC when they return to school.
