Fresh Food Fair - 1 Week to Go!
Surfside PS Fresh Food Fair 2024
1 week to go.......With only a week to go until the Fresh Food Fair preparations are in full swing and we thank all of the students, staff and the many, many helpers for all of the preparation work. We definitely have a big week ahead with final preparations, the last week of our swimming program and maintaining our classrom learning focus.
The Surfside Fresh Food Fair is our main fundraiser for 2024 and will support the following major projects and programs going into 2025:
- 100% support for our award winning Kitchen and Garden Program. This program is fully funded by the school.
- Resurfacing of our outdoor basketball court area
- Implementation of a new and updated playground in the Foundation area that has also been supported by the Lions Club.
We look forward to having you all on board to celebrate with our students and school community with an afternoon and evening of fun, food, entertainment and activities. Please read our Fresh Food Fair newsletter for more information, updates and ways that you can support.
Entertainment Update
We are excited about our entertainment line up and we hope that you get an opportunity to get some food and a drink and enjoy the talented musicians on offer. We are very thankful to our parent community and students (current and ex students) who are prepared to showcase their skills and join us for a festive afternoon. Below is also a draft timetable for Surfside's Got Talent.

Swimming and Water Safety - week 3
We are very thankful to the way our second group of students have settled into the swimming program during week 3 and we know that the program takes a lot out of the kids - especially our preps. A big focus of the program is on Water Safety which is essential due to the environment that we live in. School Council - November Meeting
Our next school council meeting will take place on Tuesday 19th November at 5:30pm with Finance meeting taking place at 5.00pm.
