Indonesian

This year, the 5th Indonesian Cultural Day celebration was held in Wangaratta, hosted by Cathedral College. Our Year 7–10 Indonesian students participated in this event, performing several traditional Indonesian dances. They also took part in a traditional angklung music workshop led by staff from the Indonesian Consulate in Melbourne. We were fortunate to have an Indonesian rapper from Papua, Presiden Tidore, who performed alongside our students. It was an unforgettable day filled with cultural learning and joy for everyone involved.

Volleyball

Hume Region Interschool Sport - Volleyball 

Grace, Bridget, Lea, Emily, and Charlotte represented Mount Beauty Secondary College in the Hume Region Volleyball tournament recently. Competing against Greater Shepparton SC, Wodonga MYC, and Yea SC, the girls put up a strong challenge, with their best set score being 15-20. It was fantastic to see how much their skills and teamwork have developed since the start of the year. They should be proud of their achievements.
