PARENTS AND FRIENDS
ANNOUNCING OUR 2024 SPECTACULAR COLOUR FUNDRAISING EVENT!
Dear Parents and Carers,
We are holding our School’s Fundraising Colour Event on Friday the 6th of December and we are incorporating a super fun Splash & Dash this year!
We will be raising much needed funds in the lead up to our event for upgrading our junior playground with a target of $30,000 and we would love all our families to join us in this fun event!
This year we have two options for you to choose how you want to partake in the fundraising aspect of the event:
Option 1: NO PRIZE If your family doesn’t want/need a prize then you won’t need to use the School Fun Run platform. Instead, you can personally collect donations from family and friends and then you just transfer any funds that you raise directly to our school via Qkr! This ensures that every dollar of the funds you raise will go directly to our school.
Option 2: CHOOSE A PRIZE TO WORK TOWARDS If your child/ren need some incentive to fundraise, they can create a profile on the fundraising platform: School Fun Run. They can then look at the prizes available and decide which prize to work towards, or in lieu of a prize, they can make a donation to the Daniel Morcombe Foundation to help keep kids safe, or Greenfleet, to give koalas a home.
What is “School Fun Run”?
It is an online fundraising program, where families create their own online profile at home. You then choose your prizes and work towards hitting your target! In your profile you will have a unique cyber safe link to share with your family and friends to donate to get you close to your target.
To use this option, hop online to create your online profile at School Fun Run You can see what prizes are available on the website.
PUT THIS DATE IN YOUR CALENDAR:
Date: Friday 6th of December 2024
Time: 2pm until end of school, followed by an all-school BBQ!
Bring a picnic rug/chair and stick around after the event to enjoy an early BBQ dinner with our MPS school community ☺️
We are very excited for this super fun event! More details will follow, however, if you have any burning questions, feel free to email the P&F: mpspandf@gmail.com
