Community and Family Engagement

Prep Information Evening

Last night we welcomed our new Prep 2025 families to SMCM to hear about the steps we will take together on their Pathway to Prep. It was wonderful to see so many new and familiar faces in Penola, ready to take those important first steps in their Prep child's schooling journey.

The next step on that journey will be their Prep Playdates next week. We can't wait to see the little people again and start to get to know them. Parents, please ensure you have booked using the code in your information pack.

Summer Uniform

From Monday, all students should be in Summer uniform for the rest of the year.

Boys need to wear grey shorts, short sleeve shirt and grey socks with plain black shoes.

Girls need to wear a school dress or the black short with a short sleeve shirt and white socks with plain black shoes.

The black wollen pullover/jumper can be worn in cooler weather.

All students should wear white socks with their sports uniform and all students MUST have a hat for PE lessons and outdoor break times.

Thank you to these Year 5/6 leaders who were in perfect uniform unprompted and photo ready!

Bunnings BBQ Fundraiser

We have been lucky enough to secure a Bunnings BBQ Fundraiser at the Epping store on SUNDAY 17TH NOVEMBER. This fundraising event will support our planning efforts for our Community Fair next year. If you are available to help on the day, cooking, serving etc it would be greatly appreciated so please reach out to kristie.hocking@smcmepppingnthc.catholic.edu.au.
