Principal's Message

Dear Parents/Carers,

During Term 3 you may recall being asked to complete a school improvement survey. We had 33% of parents complete the survey and we have just received the results.

The school leadership team together with staff will analyse the results, keeping in mind it is perception data.

We do take your feedback seriously in terms of creating an improvement agenda and many of the aspects of your feedback really confirmed our own perceptions.

In considering our annual improvement plan we consider areas of strength, areas for growth and importantly perception areas that we want to change.

We have approached the fourth quarter of the school year. This is an important term for students to finish strongly no matter what has happened previously. In secondary we are focused on achieving our potential. Primary students are also completing PAT testing which enables us to review the growth data from Term 1.

Our enrolment figures will see a growth in 2025 especially in Secondary, we are currently looking to increase our staff.  We are fortunate that most of our staff will be returning next year.  This term is also particularly important for Year 10 and some of our Year 6 students who will be moving on in 2025.

Term 4 will see many opportunities for students to participate such as the stage 5 Sydney Excursion, Year 5 Lake Keepit Camp, Catholic Mission Week and end of year activities.

In Building project meetings held recently, we have been told that the project team are satisfied with the progress being made but we still don't have a completion date. We do know that we will need to keep our existing structures in place for Term 1 2025.

Regards

Simon Fleming
