📰 P&C Update – Term 1

What a busy and successful Term 1 it has been for our P&C!

We are excited to welcome Jenny to the team as our new Canteen Assistant, supporting Jen our Canteen Supervisor in the canteen. Jenny will be working 3 hours a day, 5 days a week on an ongoing basis, with her first few weeks at full-time hours to prepare for when Jen takes leave in May.

We are still looking for canteen volunteers, even an hour makes a difference! Volunteers are welcome anytime between 8:30am–2:30pm. If you’re interested, please email the canteen to register your interest. 📧 eps_canteen@live.com.au

Our Easter Hat Parade was a fantastic success, with Hunter Homes generously selling coffees on behalf of the P&C. All profits from 8:30–11:30am went directly towards our playground fundraiser. Thank you for your support!

Our Colour Run was an incredible highlight to finish the term, raising over $34,000, with more than $20,000 going directly to the P&C for our inclusive playground project. We’ll share the final fundraising total soon on our Facebook page, be sure to follow along:

Students also enjoyed the fun of seeing Ms Montgomery, Mrs Carr and Mrs Baird slimed. Thank you for being such great sports! A special thank you to Julia and Tara for leading the Colour Run, and to all our amazing P&C members and volunteers who helped make the day such a success.

Term 2, Week 4 — 11th May at 5:30pm in the library

We are also working on offering a Microsoft Teams option, so keep an eye out for the link if you’d like to join from home.

Looking ahead to Term 2, there will be a small increase to canteen prices to reflect rising supplier costs. An updated price list will be shared shortly.
