Sport
PE:
After completing a large unit around Track and Field Athletics in preparation for School Athletics Day as well as Cross Country training we have recently moved onto AFL Football.
We are fortunate to have current Werribee Football Club Assistant Coach Matt Dowling support our unit with a focus on skill development, game awareness and participation. Matt will also be taking on the role of coach of our 5/6 squad at the upcoming Lightning Premiership.
May Madness:
A new initiative this year has been our house and school leaders conducting house sports events in the month of May.
So far, our leaders have led a carnival of basketball, netball, down ball (currently taking place this week) with soccer to follow. Each day participants from each year level receive house points as they participate in small clinics and games. By next week, one house will be awarded the top house. Who will it be?!?!?!
