Linda's Letters

Family Support Coordinator

Hi Everyone,

I hope you are well and keeping warm as these evenings get cooler.

Companion Card—Does your child have a Companion Card? Do you know what a Companion Card is for? If your child doesn’t have a card or you don’t know what it is for, please speak with me. A Companion Card provides free entry for the person supporting your child to attend community activities and events, such as the movies, the zoo, concerts and many more places around Australia. The person supporting your child maybe you, or another family member or a Support Worker. It can save you a lot of money and may make the difference between your family being able to afford the activity or not.

We Care, Carers Card— (I am not talking about the Centrelink Concession Card). The We Care, Carers Card is a discount card for Carers, it provides the opportunity to receive a discount or free entry at some community events, it now entitles the holder to the same discounts as the Seniors Card. If you would like a We Care, Carers card, please contact me to apply.

Take Care,

Linda
