Principal's Report

School review

The school review has just been completed, and I would like to thank all the parents and students that agreed to be interviewed as part of the process. The reviewers were very impressed with our school and identified that we have much to celebrate.

The findings of the review will form the basis of our 2024 to 2027 School Strategic Plan. The plan will set out goals, targets and improvement strategies focussed on improving learning outcomes, engagement and wellbeing for students.

70th Celebration

The school will be celebrating its 70th anniversary on June 28 (last day of term 2). Students will be dismissed at 1.20pm so that we can set up for the event. 

The celebration evening will be set up in the IMPACT Centre and will run from 4.30pm until 7.30pm. Food, music, memorabilia, tours and other activities will run on the night. All past and current students and staff are most welcome to attend.

Exams

Semester 1 is fast coming to an end and as such students in Years 10 to 12 are beginning to prepare for their mid-year exams. At this stage, it is important that students use these exams as a learning experience and put some time/effort into reviewing their performance.
