Sporting Schools Grants

For the past two weeks, we have had coaches from Lacrosse Victoria come and support our PE staff to deliver a skills program for the team sport, lacrosse. With the grant, we were able to purchase another set of lacrosse sticks to ensure every student had the equipment.  The students all thoroughly enjoyed the sessions and we look forward to our staff now continuing to develop the skills into some gameplay of this exciting sport.

CPDPSSA - Winter Lightning Premiership

Last Thursday, our Grade 4, 5 and 6 students participated in the District Winter Lightning Prem in both Soccer and Netball. Both events were well run by the District staff and all students participated to the best of their ability and improved after every game.  Thank you to Mr Beach who stepped in to coach and umpire the soccer team and to Miss McCoy who coached the mixed netball team.  

The members of our mixed netball team were the champions on the day after 4 wins and 1 draw.  Well done to this team on an amazing effort.
