Dear Families,

Curriculum Day & Professional Planning Day: We hope you have enjoyed the long weekend for families. Staff have started accumulating data about students to compile reports and assessments over the next few weeks. Staff have also worked hard on various planning documents for the remainder of this year and overarching curriculum for 2026.

Talented students: Quite often we have students who progress to higher levels in many sports including Cross Country, Athletics, Basketball and many others. We sometimes have students who achieve outstanding results in Chess, Rotary opportunities, or even high ability programs. We also have some outstanding students achieving great things beyond the school too. We do try to acknowledge them whether it be at assembly or via the newsletter and hope to continue to celebrate various opportunities and achievements.

Art Show: Friday 21st November is the night to head over to The Hive gallery again and not only see, but purchase ($5) your child’s artwork. I have seen some of the items that will be on display, and I have no doubt you will be impressed by the quality of the student work on display. We still need volunteers to help setup and pack up so please read on and look for the volunteer link on the Art Show page. volunteersignup.org/FQRLF

Colour Run is coming: Make sure you are ready to run and get covered in colour December 5th. More details from Mrs Stanley will be published ongoingly, let's raise some money so we can purchase new drink taps that will help us save water and improve the overall presentation of the school too.

Nude Food: Thanks to all families who have engaged with the nude food strategy to help reduce waste at school and home. Each week Jo Earle sends out reminders to collect data and a class award is presented at assemblies. Keep up the great work in this space everyone.

Enjoy the rest of the short week.
