St Ed’s Touch Gala Day Teams - Friday 31/10/25
Koori Netball Tournament
Congratulations to the St Edward’s students who competed in the Koori Netball Tournament in Charlestown! The weekend was filled with fun, passion and pride as First Nations netballers came together with their non-First Nations friends to celebrate the game they love. Charlotte Steel and Sunny Jackson represented Tamworth Miirii-Gal-Dhuul, finishing equal 6th in the 10–12 Years Pool A. Audrey Stewart, Emma McMahon, Isaac Heywood, Ivy Allan and Sienna Erich played for Baawaas and Dhagaan, placing equal 2nd in the 10–12 Years Pool B.
A huge congratulations to Baawaas and Dhagaan for receiving the Spirit Award for their outstanding sportsmanship and sportswomanship throughout the weekend!
It was also lovely to see Mrs Holman, who was busy umpiring across the tournament.
Well done, everyone!
Girls Rugby League
Shout out to Mackenzie for representing the Armidale Diocese at the Polding Pathway and Development Day for Girls Rugby League in Noraville! As our sole representative, she made the most of the day, soaking up expert coaching from NRL staff in tackling and drills, and trying out multiple positions. A great day of learning and growth!
Touch Football - Gunnedah Gala Day
A huge well done to these dedicated St Ed's students who represented Tamworth at the Gunnedah Gala Day last weekend. They proudly took to the field as part of the Tamworth Titans Junior Representative Teams. Fantastic effort and commitment to your sport!

The Armidale Diocesan Primary Sports Council is a body representative of the Catholic Education Office, Principals and Sports Coordinators from all Diocesan Primary Schools. The ADPSC offers a pathway for Armidale Diocesan students in most sports.
