Junior Assembly - Monday, 24th November

We are having our final Junior Assembly for 2025. 

FA will be presenting and 1C & 1D will be performing some French role plays.

Planning Week Timetable - Week 10

The amazingly complex draft planning week timetable is ready for your feedback ahead of our planning week in Week 10.  This timetable has been developed with consideration to the following factors:

• ensuring our 2026 teams can be released from their 2025 classes to plan together
• ensuring our part time and specialist teachers have their correct entitlement of planning time allocated in a way that will be as productive as possible
• ensuring Rose is available to be at the mini-musical performances that are scheduled throughout the week with families invited to attend
• releasing our Year 5 and 6 teams on the same day to ensure continuity of learning in the senior school
• being budget conscious- limiting the number of CRTs required to achieve all of the above!!

As this has been a very complex task, I'm sure there are things I have missed along the way.  Could all teachers (especially specialists, part timers and people who are moving levels in 2026) review the draft planning week timetable and send me your feedback by the end of Tuesday 25 November. This will allow me time to make any required updates and have the finalised version ready well before the planning week happens.  As always, if you can see a solution to your issue, that would be most appreciated!

Staff Vote 2026 Year 6 Ministers

The election for our 2026 Year 6 Ministers is currently underway. Applicants will be voted for primarily by the Year 4 and 5 Students. The selection of candidates with the highest votes will go through to a final interview round with Janet and a panel.

I have created a Google Form for any staff who wish to vote for who they believe is the best fit candidate for each role. If you know the 2026 Year 6 Students, we would really appreciate your input.

Year 6 Graduation

You may see over the next few weeks Seesaw classes come out of archives.  We are accessing photos & videos to use for Year 6 graduation videos. I will put them back into archives once I've finished with them.
