Boarding 

A big welcome back for Term 4 to our whole Boarding community. Term 4 always flies by so we are readying ourselves for lots of activities and fun as we finish off the year with our boarders. 

A theme for us in boarding for this term will be gratitude or thankfulness. We are continuing with our ‘Thankful Thursdays’ in Tivoli, which give our junior boarders a chance to anonymously thank or show appreciation for a fellow boarder or staff member by writing a note that gets handed out by staff. This is just one example of how the girls are learning and working to lift each other up and look for the positive impact that the people around them have on them and others. We will be encouraging all our boarders to think about what they are thankful for throughout the term with some different activities and events. 

Our senior boarders are also working on a student-led newsletter which will be sent out to student and staff periodically each term. This is an initiative led by our leadership team, and will be the primary responsibility of our Senior Leaders - Hilary Guilfoyle and Ava Purvis. Thai newsletter will be a wonderful insight into our boarders’ perspectives and experiences within boarding at Kambala.
