Sunday 26 November is the Feast of Christ the King.
As we celebrate Jesus’ kingship over the universe, what better time to come together as a parish, to celebrate our faith, and to help others?
Our Sacred Music, Men’s and Youth Ministries will be leading various activities on the day. We invite parish groups to process together during the Eucharistic procession: ministries, Word & Faith groups, schools, and more. We especially invite those who have completed sacraments this year (Baptism, First Communion, Confirmation) to join in. We will also have a BBQ and activities. Feel free to bring a picnic rug!
We will also have opportunities to donate on the day to Aid to the Church in Need, for emergency assistance for Christian refugees. In the Middle East, ACN provides a response not only to the most immediate needs of refugees, but also contributes to ensuring the continuity of Christianity in the lands where Christ walked.
Let’s come together to visibly share our faith with our local community. It is a day for everyone - for the young and the young at heart.
