Library News

Book week was a big success and we would like to thank everyone who got involved and especially our Library staff for their efforts making it a fun and engaging week of activities.

A reminder that you may see signs showing that the Kildare Library is closed at times, please take note of these notifications as they are in place for a reason.

RU OK? Day - September 14

RU OK? Day is our national day of action dedicated to reminding everyone that any day is the day to ask, 'are you OK?' and support those struggling with life. Brigidine Library set up a wonderful display to showcase the importance of this day. We encourage everyone to check out the informational texts relating to matters surrounding mental health, and remind everyone to regularly check in with peers to determine whether their wellbeing is of concern. In our community, we have access to resources to help, and it all starts with a simple question.

Last week of term

As this is the last week of classes before a two week break, please ensure you return or re-borrow any books from Term 3 in order for our library team to audit our collection and to avoid any overdue late charges.

Stay safe over the break and enjoy some nice time in the spring sun with a book!

Regards,

The St Joseph’s Brigidine & Kildare Library Team
