Year 9 Statistics

Year 9 Maths classes have recently been focusing on collecting, recording, and interpreting statistical data. 

As part of their assessment, they used leaping frogs to record how far their frog could jump. They used this information to display the data via several different methods and analysed the measures of centre and spread. 

Maths in 2024 

2024 is fast approaching and those students who are enrolling in Year 10-12 General, Methods and/or Specialist Maths will require the Texas TI-Nspire CX II CAS Touchpad Colour Calculator. 

Students completing Year 7-9 Maths and Year 10-12 Foundation Maths will require a scientific calculator. 

Calculators can be purchased later in the year through the booklist or if you would like to get in early, please see attached instructions for ordering.
