Italy and Greece Study Tour
We are thrilled to announce that European travel is back on the calendar for St Joseph's College in 2024!
We have engaged WorldStrides Educational Travel & Experiences, to coordinate an educational and exciting cultural experience for 25 students and 4 staff from St Joseph's College!
Over 14 days, students will explore key cultural sites in Italy and Greece, to expand their knowledge of ancient history, art, languages, food, religion and humanities, all while having fun with their friends in a safe environment, during this once in a lifetime trip!
When?
Wednesday September 18 - Tuesday 1 October, 2024.
Where?
Greece: Athens, Tolo, Nafpaktos
Italy: Sorrento, Rome

Who can attend?
Any student in Year 9, 10 or 11 in 2024, is welcome to apply. You do not need to be studying Italian to attend.
What's included?
International flights, internal flights, coach travel, all accommodation, tours, breakfast and dinner daily.
Cost
$6897 (TBC)
How to apply?
Expressions of interest will open Thursday 5 October and close on Friday 13 October at 5pm. Successful applicants will be notified by Friday 20 October. A deposit of $195 will need to be paid by Friday 27 October to secure your place.
Selection criteria
When applying, students will be asked to address a series of selection criteria in order to attend our overseas educational tour. The following criteria will be considered to ensure a meaningful and successful experience for all including:
- interest and motivation
- behaviour and maturity
- personal qualities
- academic performance
- cultural awareness and sensitivity
- commitment and responsibility
