Principal's Message
Mr Kyle Baggaley | Principal
As we approach the term break, I want to take a moment to commend each and every one of you for your commitment to education and growth. We have a wonderful community in The King's College and in times of success and amidst challenges, it is great to see resilience, determination and strength of character shining through.
This break is a short pause in the academic calendar; it's an opportunity to recharge, rejuvenate, and spend quality time with loved ones. Remember to embrace the simple joys of life, explore new adventures, and find moments of relaxation and reflection. In the spirit of hope and renewal, I'd like to share a Bible verse with you:
"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." - Matthew 11:28 (NIV)
This serves as a great reminder that we don't need to do it alone, and we can always turn to Christ for strength.
New Primary School Development | Entry Roadworks Commencing Term 4
Over the course of this year, it has been great to see the development not only in our staff and students but also in the College facilities. Our new primary school has been moving full steam ahead and is on track to be ready to welcome our Year 1-6 students for the beginning of Term 1 next year.
Often, in the pursuit of progress, we need to rebuild what once was. Over the term break, the builders will commence work on the existing entry to widen it and create a new tear-drop roundabout. This means some of the existing bitumen will need to be removed and new foundations created. Unfortunately, it won't be possible to complete all necessary work during the term break, so upon return to school, we will enter via a limestone road. This will be in place for all of Term 4 and will be bituminized when school finishes in December. We ask for your patience and understanding over this time. Our hope is that despite the changes, traffic will flow smoothly during this transition stage. If you need to visit the College grounds during the term break, please be mindful of the workers and follow their directions for safe entry onto the premises.
Thank you for being an essential part of our school community. Your support and dedication are part of what makes our educational journey so exceptional. Wishing you a restful and enjoyable term break!
