STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Maths)

Whilst STEAM will be interrupted this term due to health reasons, we still have some very exciting plans.

Additive Manufacturing (3D Printing)

We have started to experiment with our brand-new 3D Printer using TinkerCad and Thingiverse. 

The possibilities for use are endless... think earring stall at next year's Celebrate the 6s!

Prep

Prep students have been experimenting with Makey Makeys and how we can use circuits to create human pianos!

Year 3/4

Year 3/4 students are continuing on with their Claymation movies as we count down towards the inaugural Claymation Film Festival later this term! 

Year 5/6

Year 5/6 students are learning about different types of bacteria and will be using MacConkey's Agar to determine what is growing in the canal (Elster Creek).
