Celebrating Our Learning

What a Wonderful Way to Finish Off Term 3! 

Our students have embraced the concept of Sustainability over the term, working through their Integrated Studies units. Each year level has learnt and explored the concept in a variety of ways. This saw students beginning with a big idea and then embarking on a journey of inquiry. The authentic learning experiences across the school led to a celebration of the students’ skills and knowledge.

The students’ journeys through learning included:

• utilising co spaces to create digital exhibitions that highlighted environmental impacts on a chosen country, 
• a sustainability Travel Expo,
• the design and planning of a new garden to attract native birds and wildlife,  
• poster/slideshow presentations that highlighted wildlife threats,
• posters and presentations highlighting more sustainable ways to use common household items
• creating narrated, digital presentations that showcased ways we can all protect our planet
• designing reusable shopping bags.
