Student Leadership

As the SRC Coordinator, I am excited to share that we have had a great start to the year at Thomas Reddall High School! We now have our elected Student Representative Council (SRC), made up of 26 dedicated students. This includes four representatives each from Years 7, 8, 9, 10, and 11, along with our six Year 12 senior leaders.

Thank You to Our Students

I want to say a big thank you to all the students who put their names forward to be part of the SRC. Your enthusiasm and willingness to lead show how strong our school community is. A special shout out goes to our Year 7 nominees, who bravely gave speeches to introduce themselves to their whole grade to be considered for the SRC. We are very proud of you!

Leadership Assembly

On February 24th, we held our first Leadership Assembly, which was a special event for our school. It was wonderful to see so many parents, carers, and family members come out to support our students. During the assembly, we recognised our School Captains, Vice Captains, Prefects, Student Representative Council members, Peer Support Leaders, House Prefects, Junior AECG Leaders, and Ohana Leaders. This assembly was a fantastic opportunity to celebrate our leaders and highlight their hard work.

SRC Networking Meeting

On March 11th, our entire SRC took part in a networking meeting with SRC students from Campbelltown Performing Arts High School and Eagle Vale High School. This was a great chance for our students to meet new friends and learn more about leadership. They engaged in activities that helped them understand SRC roles and worked on creative thinking, perseverance, negotiation, and planning. It was inspiring to see everyone working together and sharing ideas.

Looking Forward to 2025

As we look ahead to 2025, the SRC is excited to plan many projects and activities throughout the year. We are dedicated to making a positive impact in our school and ensuring that every student’s voice is heard.
