Parish/School connection: - you are invited to the following weekend Family Masses for separate classes. These are for parents often unable to attend our school class Masses. Please diarise the following for this year:
Sunday 23 March @10.15 am Family "Buddy Mass" for Kinders, Seniors and all welcome
Sunday 18 May @6 pm Year 3 & 4 followed by "Potluck" dinner and all welcome
Sunday 24 August @10.15 am Family Mass with Year 1 & 2 and all welcome
Looking forward to a year of engaging in our Catholic faith with you. This year of 2025 Pope Francis has called it "The Jubilee Year of Hope." A jubilee year is celebrated every 25 years when the doors of St Peter's Basilica are especially opened in Rome to welcome pilgrims. May we all live with a hopeful, positive attitude knowing God's love surrounds us if we take the time to notice it.

Welcome Mass
On Thursday, we formally welcomed our community to the 2025 school year. We came together as a school community to pray that the Holy Spirit will bless us and be with us as we journey together into a new school year. We welcomed teachers, students and families who are new to our school – may you grow in strength and gentleness during your time with us.
The theme of the Mass inspires us to “share the light of Jesus.” We know how important it is to live our faith and follow Jesus’ example and his teachings. We can share the light of Jesus each and every day. We can make a difference by how we treat each other. When we are kind to each other and we use kind actions and words, the light of Jesus within us shines for others to see.
2025 is a Jubilee Year of Hope. The year calls Christians to action. Pope Francis calls for “signs of hope” in this Jubilee Year. It’s a time for us to grow spiritually, through prayer and participation in the life of the Church. How can we live out the Gospel that God became man to preach. Will we dedicate more time to prayer? Will we find more time to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation? Will we go on pilgrimage? Will we offer our time more to serve others or serve the Church?
Kind regards
Liana Stella
