Principal's Message

Dear Holy Family Community,

Thank you so much for attending our Parent Information Evening. Your presence and support are vital as we work together to set our students up for a successful year ahead.

We hope the information shared will provide clarity and guidance, helping everyone feel prepared for the year ahead. If you have any further questions or need additional details, please don't hesitate to reach out.

Meet the Teacher Conferences

We are excited to announce our Meet the Teacher Conferences next week! This is a wonderful opportunity for you to connect with your child's teacher one-on-one to

discuss your child’s hopes, goals, challenges, and anything else that you feel is important for us to know to support their success. These conferences are a great way to build a strong partnership between home and school, ensuring we can work together to help your child thrive. We encourage all families to stay involved in school life and take advantage of the many opportunities for engagement.

School Fees

Please note that school fees will be emailed to parents from Head Office within the next couple of weeks.  A surcharge of 1.65% including GST will be incurred for payments paid through Compass so we would advise you all to wait for the email from CSBB coming through shortly.  This way you can pay via BPay which will be free of a surcharge.

Kindy and New Families Welcome BBQ

We would like to warmly invite all Kindy and new families to our Welcome BBQ on Friday, February 21, at 5:00 pm. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet fellow families, connect, and look forward to an exciting year ahead!

To help us with catering, please RSVP using the link

We can’t wait to see you there and celebrate the start of the school year together!

*** Please note this is an ALCOHOL FREE event!  ***

Congratulations Lauryn!

Twenty-one Broken Bay students, including or very own Lauryn Wu travelled to Tamworth on February 7 to represent their schools and Diocese in the sports of Basketball and Tennis at the NSW CPS Polding selection trials. The students played in extremely hot conditions, showing sportsmanship, determination and their skills. We are extremely proud of Lauryn who played her best tennis at the trials.

Kindest regards

Pauline Dinale - Principal

Safer Internet Day 2025

Tuesday marked Safer Internet Day, a timely reminder of the importance of online safety in today’s digital world. As we continue to embrace the benefits of technology, it’s crucial that we also ensure our children are safe, informed, and respectful in their online interactions.

We encourage you to have an open conversation with your children about the importance of being kind, mindful, and respectful when engaging online. In today’s connected world, every child needs to understand the potential risks and how to protect themselves from online harms. By fostering healthy habits, we can help our children build positive digital footprints that will stay with them for years to come.

As part of this conversation, we recommend sharing valuable resources, such as those available through the eSafety Commissioner, which offers expert guidance and support on various online safety topics. This is a fantastic way to ensure your child’s safety, while also providing them with the tools to navigate the digital world with confidence and respect.

Starting the conversation early and encouraging open dialogue can make all the difference. Let’s work together to ensure that our children enjoy the benefits of the online world safely and responsibly.
