Academic Day of Excellence

Mazenod College proudly welcomed over 200 guests to our Academic Day of Excellence, honouring the outstanding achievements of our VCE (ATAR and VM) students of 2024.

This special event brought together graduating students, parents, Parish Priests, Primary Principals, and other distinguished guests in recognition of the dedication, resilience, and ambition that define our community.

More than just an awards ceremony, the event was a moment of reflection and inspiration—empowering our newest graduates as they step into the next chapter of their journey. Their success is a testament to the commitment of our staff, the support of their families, and their own pursuit of excellence.

We look forward to seeing where your achievements take you next!

From Dux to the Future: Avinda’s Story

It was a pleasure welcoming our 2024 College Dux, Avinda Wickramaratne, back to campus, who joined us in an exclusive interview as he reflected on his journey at Mazenod. Avinda shares insights into how he approached his studies, stayed focused on his goals, and what’s next for him beyond Mazenod.

Thank you for your time, Avinda, and best of luck for the future!

I encourage all parents and guardians to keep an eye out for communications regarding the upcoming Study Skills Family Night, an online event designed to help families get on the same page regarding study. More information will be circulated in the next fortnight.
