Introducing.....Dylan Sinosich, Foods and Physical Education Teacher

Why did you decide to become a Teacher?

As a student, I had great mentors who have inspired me to follow in their footsteps and hopefully I can do the same for the next generation of students coming through. 

How long have you been a Teacher?

This is my first year as a teacher following on from working as an education support staff member. 

What was your last place of employment - school/university or another organisation?

I previously worked at Warranwood Primary School as a member of the Education Support team, and I am currently studying at Deakin University. 

What do you love most about being a Teacher?

Seeing the growth in students. 

What has been one of your best teaching moments?

Seeing one student who was extremely shy begin to participate in activities with the rest of the class. 

What would be 3 things that you would like the students to know about you

1. I follow the Brisbane Lions and play football for Donvale Football Club.
2. I graduated from Mullauna College!
3. Like most PE teachers, I love sport. 

Where is your favourite holiday destination?

Fremantle

What TV show/series did you last binge watch?

Squid Game

If you could wear Harry’s invisibility cloak for one day, where would you go and what would you do?   That’s Harry Potter’s cloak not Harry Ruff’s cloak 😊

I would sneak onto a plane and travel to Europe. 

What is the one piece of ‘advice’ or the one thing that you always say to your students?

Try your best and never aim for average.
