School Theme ‘Be the light!’
Classroom Work
This week, students continued to explore and reflect on our school theme, "Be the Light!". Some classes have interviewed family members to share personal stories about a time when someone was a source of light during a difficult moment. Other classes have focused on Old Testament scriptures, where we learn about God creating light for the world.
Foundation Church Visit
Last week the Foundation Students visited the church and began their learning about the signs and symbols we find in the church.

Church Jubilee Year of Hope
Pope Francis has declared 2025 as a Jubilee Year, a special time dedicated to forgiveness, reconciliation, and the renewal of our relationship with God, one another, and creation.
During Religious Education lessons, students will learn about the ‘Holy Doors’ that are opened in Rome for this significant celebration.
Sacrament Dates for 2025
First Eucharist 2025
The Information Night for First Eucharist will be held on Thursday, 13th of March at 6:30pm in the Foundation Classrooms.
First Eucharist will be celebrated on Saturday, 29th of March 2025, at the 6:00pm Parish Mass.
Confirmation 2025
Confirmation will be taking place on Saturday, 21st of June 2025, at 11:00am. This special occasion will be celebrated at St. Patrick's Cathedral (East Melbourne) as part of the Archdiocese’s participation in the Jubilee Year of Hope in 2025. We will be celebrating this Mass with the students from our sister school, St. Margaret’s Maribyrnong.
World Social Justice Day
February the 20th is World Day of Social Justice. We are reminded of the need to build a fairer and more equitable world. As we move into the season of Lent, students will begin looking at Catholic Social Teachings and the importance of justice for all.
