Hello Families and Friends,

We’re totally buzzing with excitement to share all the fun and laughter we’ve been having here at TheirCare over the past couple of weeks! With the weather keeping us on our toes, we’ve been making the most of every sunny moment before summer waves goodbye!

Term 1, Week 3

Welcome to our “American Dream” adventure! This week, the children immersed themselves in the spirit of America through exciting crafts and activities. They created patriotic wands, popsicle stick flags, and even some stunning eagle crafts that captured the essence of the American spirit. But the absolute highlight of the week was definitely slime! The children had an absolute blast making, moulding, and playing with slime—laughter and excitement filled the air as they experimented with different textures and shapes. Their imaginations truly ran wild as they discovered new ways to create and play with this stretchy, gooey material.

Through hands-on crafts and a whole lot of fun, the American Dream theme sparked the children’s creativity and imagination. It’s been a week of crafting, playing, and enjoying all things red, white, and blue—an unforgettable journey into the heart of America!

Term 1, Week 4

Welcome to our “Beach Bonza” adventure! This week, the children embarked on an exciting ocean odyssey, diving into fun and creativity inspired by the beach. The leading activity was crafting personalized jellyfish suncatchers, which shimmered in the sunlight and captured the essence of the sea. They also created vibrant handprint fish and even had a blast making fish puppets that brought the underwater world to life.

Beyond crafts, backyard cricket filled the air with laughter and joy, as the children ran, laughed, and played together, embracing the sunny beach vibes. Their enthusiasm and teamwork shone brightly, making every moment an adventure in the sand and surf. With a perfect blend of creative fun and energetic play, the “Beach Bonza” theme has truly sparked the children's imaginations, making this week an unforgettable splash!

Sun Safety 

Being in Term 1, children must wear hats when engaging in outdoor play. Can I please ask parents and guardians that you remind your child to bring their hat over to TheirCare so that we can go outside and enjoy all the sun has to offer safely! If preferred we have a tub at the service, your child is welcome to bring a spare sun-safe hat that is named that they keep at the service and use throughout the Year!Sunscreen will be applied before going outside every day, if your child requires a particular sunscreen, please do not hesitate to let me know so that I can accommodate for this!

Booking/Cancellations

To ensure the safety and smooth operation of TheirCare, we kindly remind parents of the importance of managing bookings and cancellations for their children’s sessions. All bookings should be made through the FullyBooked platform.

If you need assistance with the booking process, please feel free to stop by the TheirCare room, and I will be happy to assist you.

Additionally, if your child is unwell or will be collected at the conclusion of the school day, please ensure you cancel their session through the FullyBooked application. If you are unable to access the app in a timely manner, you may contact me directly at 0487 011 573, and I can assist with cancelling the booking for you.
