From the Classroom

Survival Island

During the 'Leaping into 2025' program, the students in 4/5G, 5M, 5/6M, 6D and 6IG have been undertaking a team-building challenge called 'Survival Island'.

Students were placed into teams and given challenges where they had to work together to 'survive' as a group on a deserted island. Their aim was to collect as many points as they could because the teams who reach over 40 points are rescued from the island. Some of the challenges included giving out team names and jobs, collecting special items and supplies, helping injured members and designing and building a shelter! It has been fantastic to see the students work together, using their teamwork and collaboration skills to 'survive.'
