School Savings Bonus: School Activities

As announced last year, the Victorian Government provided $400 for each child enrolled at a government school for 2025. Families choose how they would like to use School Saving Bonus funds. At FPS funds can be used for the following:

• School camps
• Excursions and incursions
• Swimming and sporting programs
• Graduation
• School uniform (A Plus Schoolwear)

Allocating Funds

Year 4 - 6 Families

If you are yet to use your funds/have partial funds remaining, we recommend using on your child's camp.

• Year 4: Tuesday 7 – Wednesday 8 October (2024 cost was $250).
• Year 5: Wednesday 3 – Friday 5 September (2024 cost was $395).
• Year 6: Monday 31 March – Friday 4 April (2024 cost was $690).

Foundation - Year 3 Families

If you are yet to use your funds/have partial funds remaining, we recommend using on your child's excursions, incursions, swimming and sporting programs.

Compass events will be used so that families can communicate which school activities to allocate their bonus to.  

Need to Allocate Your Funds?

If you are yet to allocate your funds, you can do so using the online system. You will need your password that was sent out by the Department of Education towards the end of last year as well as your email address.
