Specialist Feature News - Performing Arts
Selamat Siang,
Students have now completed rehearsals in their classes for our upcoming musical, Seussical Jr!
The students have done such an incredible job working together in their classes and in their cohorts rehearsing for the performance. The students in year 5/6 have done such an incredible job learning their lines, songs and choreography. Please ensure that you look at the communication that was sent out via compass for costume information for all students at this time so that you are prepared for dress rehearsal at the very beginning of next term. The costumes that students will bring for dress rehearsal need to be in a labelled bag so that they are able to be returned home afterwards. Students will be required to come to The Round on the night of their performance already in costume when they meet their teacher in the foyer.
At the beginning of next term students will spend some time in the first week rehearsing the show so that it is ready to perform in Week 2!! Students will start incorporating costumes, more props and elements of set during this time to really bring the Seussical Jr story to life! We are so close to showtime so make sure you go and secure your ticket for the performance. We are so excited to be bringing such a fun and colourful show to life at MPRPS and show the community how incredible all of our students are on stage!
Reminder that the Seussical Cover Competition is due in Week 1 of next term and needs to be printed and delivered to the specialist office by Wednesday 23rd of April to have successfully entered.

Sports News!
I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone for your support throughout the term with such a busy sports calendar. From swimming, to twilight sports and gala days. These events would not be successful without the help and support of the community. Thank you and I will see you all next term :)
Here are some snaps of our successful set of gala days to end the term! A huge well done to our boys/mixed cricket team, boys/mixed volleyball team and our girls cricket team for making it through to division. We are all so proud of you!
