Independence Centre

Highlight
Salamat Siang,
This term we have welcomed the Year 3s to the Independence Centre!
Term 1 has been a great start to the year. We’ve participated in many exciting
events including Gala Day, Swimming Carnival, Twilight Sports, and Buddies!
We've also been doing a lot of fun things within class time, including our Guided Inquiry unit on "Walk through Country" and I.C.E.
This week we made Euclidean Hats - these are hats made using 2D and 3D shapes! We’ve shown creativity and perseverance when designing our hats. We also wrote letters to members of the local parliament, including Nick McGowan, inviting them to talk to us about what they do. Finally, we've celebrated the conclusion of our Guided Inquiry unit by showcasing our projects and inviting the Year 5/6s to the Independent Centre.
Have a great holiday friends and family!
