Our Year 5/6 students have been thoroughly enjoying Storm Boy as their class novel. To complement their learning, they have been incorporating this story into their Art lessons, focusing on investigation of pelicans and shells, while also researching the unique environment of the Coorong.
Music is also in full swing, with students eagerly preparing for the Battle of the Bands at the end of Term 2. They are making great progress on their woodwind and brass instruments under the guidance of Mrs Meinel and our three wonderful music tutors.
A special milestone is approaching for our Year 6 students, who are looking forward to receiving their Year 6 jumpers very soon! The jumper displays the verse, "And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength. The second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbour as yourself. No other commandment is greater than these.” Mark 12:30-33

Welcome Picnic
Last Tuesday, we held a Junior School picnic. We trust you enjoyed meeting new people and reconnecting with others over some donuts and delicious hot drinks.
We enjoyed a relaxed evening meal on the grass while the children enjoyed games and activities hosted by our amazing teachers.
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us - we can’t wait to do it again next year!
