Foundation Colour Mixing

The Foundation students have been learning about our three primary colours (red, blue and yellow) and how these colours can be mixed together to make our three secondary colours (green, purple and orange). They loved getting the paints out and experimenting with mixing the primary colours together to see what they could make. Thank you as always to our Grade 6 helpers Eden and Liv!

Grade 1/2 3D Rabbits

As a bit of fun to finish the term, Grade 1/2 students created a 3D rabbit out of plasticine to celebrate the Easter holidays. Students had to warm up the plasticine, manipulate it into different shapes, and they used wire to connect the body parts and for their whiskers. Each rabbit has it's own wonderful personality and everyone around the school has commented on how awesome they are. Well done Grade 1/2!

Grade 3/4 Graffiti Fences

The Grade 3/4 students have been looking at graffiti art, and have completed their graffiti fence name designs. After tracing them onto their 3D fences (which they made out of popsicle sticks last week), they have begun the painting process. We focused on block colours, with details to be added with paint pens in Term 2. Well done everyone.
