Lyambay Dancers

It has been a busy year so far for our lyambay dances. Throughout the term the dancers have performed at the UNE Closing the Gap Day, ASC Harmony Day Assembly, ASC Welcome BBQ / Yarn Up / Open Evening and for Harmony Day at Drummond Public School! In week 11 our dancers also attended a workshop run by Bangara Dance Company, while also preparing their audition for School Spectacular.

Me and My Mob

This term Me and My Mob has started with our Year 7 girls, everyone has had such a great time so far getting to know each other. We also set a challenge of trying a new food each week, one of the hits so far has been some pomegranate which we tried last week. We are also starting mob again next term with our Year 8 and 9’s.

Yarn Up / Year 7 Welcome BBQ / Open Evening

Thank you to everyone that showed up to our combined BBQ event in week 9. It was a great chance to meet and yarn with our families!
