I hope everyone had an enjoyable long weekend and are ready and refreshed for the final 4 weeks of Term 1. I am looking forward to seeing many of our parents at the Parent Teacher interviews on 28 March 2024.
I would like to thank and farewell Mrs Shirley Wallis for her hard work in the Class department at the start of the year. We wish her all the best. I would also like to welcome Ms Annette Wells, who has joined us this week from England as an English teacher. We are also welcoming back Miss Tameka Baker, Class of 2020, as a Technical Officer for Cattle on Farm.
Country Week will be held in Week 11 of Term 2, this is our first major excursion. Students wishing to attend need to sign a student contract to attend this event. The majority of our students do the right thing during the school day and during residential time. There are a small number of students who are consistently not meeting College Guidelines. I encourage all families to read the attached contract and for students to consider the possible consequences of not meeting College Guidelines. Any student who does not have their Good Standing at the time of an event will be ineligible to attend and any student who has lost their Good Standing twice or more in the two terms leading up to Country Week will have their eligibility reviewed.
This contract will be distributed to students wanting to attend Country Week early next term.
