Dear Brigidine community,

It is with great excitement and pride that we welcome you to our latest newsletter, where we highlight the extraordinary achievements and endeavours of our remarkable community.

In every corner of our College, from classrooms to sports fields, from stage performances to community service projects, our students, staff, and parents continually demonstrate dedication, talent, and a spirit of excellence. This newsletter is our platform to shine a spotlight on their inspiring efforts and celebrate the collective successes that make our community truly exceptional.

As you read through the stories and updates featured in this edition, we invite you to join us in acknowledging the hard work, creativity, and passion that fuel the achievements of our community members. From academic triumphs to acts of service, from artistic endeavours to athletic accomplishments, each contribution reflects the values and spirit that define our College.

Welcome Evenings:We want to express our sincere gratitude to all who attended our Year "Welcome Evenings." These gatherings provided a fantastic opportunity for us to come together, exchange insights, and set the stage for a successful year ahead.

The energy and enthusiasm displayed during these evenings were truly inspiring. It was wonderful to see parents and staff engaging in meaningful conversations and showing their dedication to making this academic year a memorable one.

Thank you once again for your participation and commitment to our College community.

Their stellar performances showcased grace and confidence, representing our College admirably. Special thanks to Jesse Bacon and Jasmine Crnogorac for their dedication in preparing the students for this event.

College Swimming Carnival: We're thrilled to announce the roaring success of our recent College Swimming Carnival, filled with the Aussie Aussie Aussie spirit! The vibrant outfits and enthusiastic participation made it a memorable celebration. Congratulations to Delany House for securing the House Spirit Cup and to Aquinas House for their outstanding performance in winning the overall Competition Cup. Moreover, our swimmers displayed exceptional skill at the Conference 1 Swimming Championships, securing multiple championships across categories. A shoutout to Maeve Hurley for her relentless support and guidance.

Their dedication alongside our exceptional staff members truly set the stage for a remarkable event. The overwhelmingly positive feedback speaks volumes about their commitment and enthusiasm.

Stage 6 Hospitality Showcase: Our Stage 6 Hospitality students wowed us with their culinary expertise at Pinocchio's Restaurant. Their passion and dedication transformed the evening into a culinary masterpiece, leaving a lasting impression on all who attended. Kudos to the students for their hard work and commitment to excellence.

Special Meeting with the Archbishop: A historic moment unfolded as our College Captain, Sienna Williams, and College Faith & Charism Captain, Molly Menzel, shared a meal with the Archbishop of Sydney, Most Reverend Anthony Fisher OP. This rare opportunity allowed our student leaders to engage directly with a prominent figure in our community, underscoring the impact they can have as leaders.

International Women's Day Celebration: Our International Women's Day festivities were a resounding success, highlighting the importance of honouring and empowering women everywhere. We're grateful for your support in our fundraising efforts for ReLove, making a meaningful difference in supporting important causes.

Leadership Breakfast Event: Three of our exceptional student leaders—Sienna Williams, Olivia Daley, and Emily Grimmond—attended a prestigious breakfast event hosted by Catholic Schools NSW. This provided them with a unique platform to connect with fellow Catholic school leaders and gain insights from prominent speakers, including the Honourable Tanya Plibersek MP.

These recent events exemplify the dedication, talent, and leadership within our College community.
